The Children's Advocacy Center of Portage County is providing a child sexual abuse recognition, response, and prevention training: "Darkness to Light -- Stewards of Children" from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Family & Community Services, 705 Oakwood St., Ravenna.
This program is for staff and volunteer youth leaders, teachers, or anyone interested in stopping child sexual abuse. Registration required; the cost is $20. The program includes Continuing Education Units. Contact Rachel Lancaster at 330-297-8838 or rlancaster@rmh2.org.
