Savannah Boston became the bride of Matthew Golias in a July 14 wedding ceremony at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church. The officiant was the Rev. Gary Beck.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Vickie Boston of Ravenna, and the groom is the son of Tim Golias and Donna Darrah of Ravenna.
The bride was escorted by her father. The wedding colors were fucshia pink and marine blue.
The bride chose a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. The ruched bodice had Swarovski crystals, rhinestone and sequined beadwork, and embroidery sewn onto tulle over the silky satin, gathered, full princess ballgown skirt. She carried fuchsia calla lilies.
Lauren Boettler of Lakewood was the maid of honor. Aurora Insko of Chicago, Ill., cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. Bridesmaids were Leah Drake of Ravenna; Olivia Boston and Isabella Boston of Ravenna, sisters of the bride; Stefani Esposito of Kent; and Jessica Boston of Ravenna, sister-in-law of the bride.
Cody Drake served as best man. The ring bearer was Nathan Waesch, nephew of the groom. Groomsmen were T.J. Golias and Andy Golias, brothers of the groom; Andrew Kluge; Chris Eicher; and Donnie Boston, brother of the bride. The groom's attendants are all Ravenna residents.
A reception was held at Guy's Party Center in Akron.
Both the bride and groom attended Ravenna High School. She is employed with the A&W Restaurant in Ravenna. He also attended Bowling Green State University and is employed with Windstream in Twinsburg.
The couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They reside in Ravenna.
