Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 S. Water St. in Kent, will hold an Advent Adventure tonight. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the Great Hall, followed by devotions at 6 p.m. and crafts at 6:30 p.m. Participants can make a family Advent log to hold candles, along with an angel or another Christmas craft.
The church's annual Christmas giveaway will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Gathering Room. Donations of gently used Christmas decorations are needed. Trees, wreaths, candles, lights, bulbs, greenery and outdoor decorations would be appreciated. Donations may be brought in anytime and placed directly in the classroom next to the Gathering Room.
