Around Garrettsville

Christmas on Main, sponsored by the Garrettsville Area Chamber of Commerce, is under way. Many of the local businesses are participating in this event. Businesses involved will stamp the special Christmas on Main card equal to purchases spent in their business.

Once the card is full of stamps it is then entered into a drawing for $500 in chamber bucks to be spent at local merchants. The second-place prize is a poinsettia lottery tree, and third place is a $50 gift card to a local merchant.

Any of the businesses involved in this event have cards and will accept the full cards for entry into the drawing. This event helps increase spending with the local businesses. Be sure to look for the Christmas on Main poster at participating businesses. In order for participants to be eligible for the drawing, all full cards must be turned in by Dec. 17 at a participating business.
