Silent auction set Nov. 29 at Roosevelt

Miracle on Mantua Street, Theodore Roosevelt High School's annual Silent Auction, will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the high school, 1400 N. Mantua St. (S.R. 43) in Kent. Some of the items being auctioned include an iPad mini, 21-inch monitor, Kindle Fire HD, remote car starter, electronic dog fence, romantic get-a-ways, gym memberships, golf packages, bike donated by Portage Cyclery, permanent make-up, catering, photographer packages, dinner and theater tickets, and a Sydney Crosby autographed jersey professionally framed, which will be bid on with a live auction at 8 p.m. Showing off some of the baskets are front row, from left, Natalie Stokes, Jessica Gordon, Mackenzie Lloyd, Erin Makanos and Tori Lang; and back row, Phoeby Trask, Katie McGann, Erin Weese and Jessica Pittinger.
