The Rootstown Historical Society will end its year on a musical note.
The society will host Jeff Gaynor of Noteworthy Woodworking at 7 p.m. Monday at the Rootstown Town Hall.
Gaynor began building musical instruments as a hobby 26 years ago in his home in Rootstown. His hobby grew into a business of building wood instruments.
He designs five sizes of harps, lap and hammered dulcimers, three sizes of bowed psalteries and an all-wood banjo.
Gaynor's musical interests also include playing the bagpipes. The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
