The Suffield Township Historical Society Speaker Series on Monday is "The Schumacher Lumber Company Story," featuring Chris Wilson, a longtime employee.
Wilson will give a history of how this local company evolved into a major business and its place in the history of this area.
The historical society will hold its meeting in the Suffield Fire Station's Community Room. A short business meeting will be at 6:15 p.m. with the program at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. There will be light refreshments.
