The Heart of Doll Country held its March meeting with all members in attendance. Upcoming trips were discussed. Carolyn Englert put on an informative program about dolls at a church in Ravenna.

The Garrettsville Branch of the Portage County District Library has asked her to present the same program at the library at 2 p.m. April 12.

There will be a big doll show put on by the Cleveland Doll Club on April 6 at the Kirtlander Party Center in Kirtland on S.R. 306.

April 27 will be a Tea Party at the Birkshire Hills Country Club. Those interested in attending, should call (440) 729-7690.

The annual Doll Luncheon will be May 31 at the Kirtlander Party Center.

The program, Creating Porcelain Dolls, was put on by Pat Dutchman and included step-by-step how to create a porcelain doll. There are classes at the Intensive Doll Hospital in Chesterland.

Members had their share and tell dolls with them at the meeting. Refreshments were by Pat Dutchman and the door prize, a basket of prim roses, was won by Marianne Page.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Garrettsville.
