An ensemble of seventh-grade string players from Kimpton

An ensemble of seventh-grade string players from Kimpton Middle School show their eagerness to entertain the public. March is Music In Our Schools Month according to the Music Educators National Conference. In honor of this years theme Connect With Music, 88 string players in string orchestras from Kimpton Middle School in Stow-Munroe Falls, Stanton Middle School of Kent and Litchfield Middle School of Akron will join forces at 7 p.m. Monday to perform a free concert. The concert will be held in the Kimpton Middle School Auditorium. Guest conductor will be Bryan Thomas, professor of double bass at Kent State University.
