The Crestwood High School Students of the Month for January were the guests at the meeting of the Mantua Rotary Club, held recently at the Masonic Hall.

Guest speaker for the evening was Nathan Goodell, who spoke on his recent trip to Brazil with the leadership group of Ohio State Universitys College of Agriculture.

According to Goodell, his trip was divided into three sections, including a section of study at the university near So Paulo, several trips to various farms and farm-related industries in the area, and sightseeing trips to various attractions including the Iguau Falls.

Goodell showed slides of his trip to Brazil as part of his presentation.

He is a sophomore at Ohio State University and he was one of 14 students on the trip, which was for the leadership group Alpha Zeta Partners.

The group will be traveling to Washington, D.C. later this month to connect with lawmakers regarding agricultural issues.

Goodell is the son of Jay and Barbara Goodell of Mantua and a graduate of Crestwood High School.
