Members of Ravenna Grange No. 32 met recently with master Mike Johnson presiding.
Billy Johnson, legislative agent, talked about the Portage County Farmland Protection Program.
Dorothy Franks, ladies activities chairman, told about the state and national contests. Her health tips regarded getting a flu shot and washing hands frequently.
Shirley Johnson gave her community service report. Faye Pearce, deaf activities chairman, gave a report on the deaf language class to be held in Ravenna.
Faye Pearce, lecturer, gave a program entitled, The Garden of Love. The program included facts and legends of Valentines Day and how it originated, as well as the meanings of the various colors and types of flowers.
The next meeting will be held Saturday at the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna. The covered dish dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m.
