RAVENNA Spring Break Day Camp offered for boys and girls

Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department registration for the Spring Break Day Camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 11 will be held Tuesday through March 14 or the first 21 to register. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Spring Break Day Camp will provide a safe place for children to go on the days the Ravenna Schools are not in session for Spring Break.

This program will offer many activities such as crafts, games, sports, movies and field trips. The cost of the field trips is included in the price. Three trips will be taken. Transportation will be provided for the field trips.

The program will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24 to 28 at Tower Lodge in Ravenna City Park. Cost for the week program is $60 for city taxpayers and $65 for non-city taxpayers. Each child is responsible for bringing a packed lunch, snack and two beverages daily. A refrigerator is available at the site.

Pre-registration is necessary. After March 14, there will be a $10 late fee if any openings remain. To register, stop in at 220 W. Spruce Ave., in Ravenna or call (330) 296-2864.
