Kent police have arrested a Lake Street woman in connection with five daylight burglaries they allege she committed since Oct. 30.

Angela M. Cunard, 34, of 1020 Lake St., was arrested this week and charged with five counts of burglary, all second-degree felonies. She is being held in the Portage County jail on 10 percent of $100,000 bond pending future court dates, according to court records.

According to Kent police, she burglarized five residences over the span of a month before her arrest.

The dates and locations of Cunard's alleged crimes were:

n Oct. 30, the 500 block of Harvey Street

n Nov. 2, the 400 block of Dansel Street

n Nov. 4, the 400 block of Miller Avenue

n Nov. 13, the 400 block of Harvey Street

n Nov. 26, the 800 block of Bryce Road

Dansel and Harvey streets and Miller Avenue are close to Cunard's residence. Bryce Road is on the city's west side.

Kent police Lt. Bob Treharn said an investigation into "multiple daytime burglaries" resulted in Cunard's arrest.

A preliminary hearing on the charges was scheduled in Portage County Municipal Judge Barbara Oswick's courtroom in Kent. Additional charges are possible after a Portage County grand jury hears evidence against Cunard.

Court records show Cunard was convicted of misdemeanor identity theft and attempted theft in 2002 and theft in 2007.
