Ravenna man charged for meth near school

A Ravenna man was arrested Friday and charged with making methamphetamine near Brown Middle School.

Dennis W. Haworth, 43, of 115 N. Scranton St., was arrested by the Portage County Drug Task Force and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, a first-degree felony, for allegedly making meth at the residence, which is within 1,000 feet of the school.

Arraigned Monday in Portage County Municipal Court, Haworth was ordered held in the Portage County jail on 10 percent of $100,000 bond pending future court dates.

This same man has been charged at least 3 times for drug charges. Last time was in Jan.,2012. In a school zone, with drugs, criminal tools,no license & on papers. I smell a rat.

I live right by this punk and its about time they did something I've only called and gone to the police station I don't know how many times they didn't get them all tho better keep eyes on it still and maybe check out the house few down its his too. And never mind ripping off the old man across the street too who is in his 80's.

When are these type of people going to grow up? Seriously! 43 years old and you are cooking meth by a school????? I have no patience for stupidity.
