Anderlecht's Europa League bid over despite draw

MALAGA, Spain (AP) -- Anderlecht twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Group C winner Malaga on Tuesday but failed to earn a Europa League spot because Zenit St. Petersburg won.

Malaga captain Duda made it 1-0 in the 45th minute of the Champions League match with a powerful shot into the top of the net after receiving a cross from Sebastian "Seba" Fernandez.

Milan Jovanovic equalized in the 50th by pouncing on a loose ball and hitting it over 'keeper Carlos Kameni.

Malaga went ahead again in the 61st when Duda's low shot went under 'keeper Silvio Proto and inside the far post. But Dieudonne Mbokani leveled for Anderlecht in the 90th.

Zenit won 1-0 at AC Milan to seal third spot.

Malaga and Milan had already qualified for the last 16.
