ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Stefano Napoleoni scored in the 81st minute to lead Levadiakos to a 1-0 away victory over last-place AEK in the Greek league Saturday.
The Italian forward pounced to score from point-blank range after goalkeeper Dimitris Constantopoulos let the ball slip from his grasp after blocking a long-range drive by Thanassis Moulopoulos.
The defeat at Athens' Olympic stadium was yet another setback for the former powerhouse club which has been beset by severe financial problems and is on its worst start to the season, losing eight of its first 12 games.
Also Saturday, Atromitos beat Xanthi 1-0 and Giannena prevailed over OFI by the same score.
On Sunday, second-place PAOK hosts defending champion Olympiakos, hoping for a win to cut into its eight-point lead.
